The Lord told me:

”It’s a new season!’

My spirit leaped within, I began rejoicing and welcoming the new chapter! There is something so special about this, I have not quite grasped the full meaning behind it yet. Embarking on a new adventures, I say – ”grab the bull by its horns!” 😉

I prayed with my friend, that all the undone and incomplete things from the past seasons would come into completion so that we can fully enjoy and reap the reward of this new season. An important bit of knowledge I received a few weeks ago was that:

Seasons are just as sacred as our time!

If we do not complete everything in its season it will elapse over into the next season, as it cannot be left undone. The results leave you with an over-full plate – unmanageable schedules, exhaustion and dissatisfaction.

Think about how you feel if have not eaten the whole day! 10 to 1, you will devour a divine meal for dinner late in the evening, you’ll probably decide that because you have not eaten anything else, you just have to have a ”little more”, and in a few minutes you regret that choice.

You have the consequence of feeling bloated, the worst part is that there is no room for dessert!

What if the next season you enter into is a season of ”desserts”, but because you neglected the previous season’s responsibilities you become overloaded and never fully experience the pleasures handed to you? That would be a real shame.

We need to do what we need to do! If something pops up, planned or unplanned, just complete it. Whether it is something you keep shrugging off at work, chores, exercise, a serious talk you need to have with someone, your studies etc.

Get it done, not just to get it over and done with but with peace knowing that you serve a Mighty God, everything we do should be done for His glory.

I pray that the Lord will give us more perseverance, and that He would enlarge our capacities so that we can please Him and be happy about it 🙂

If you have a plan, stick to it. A plan without a follow-through really is no plan at all.

Embrace the joy, the challenge and the fulfillment of all the individual seasons you are entrusted with. Some seasons are difficult, used to toughen us up a bit, some are breezy and allow us to rest. The Lords plans for you in each season are very significant. Imagine a year without seasons? No summer, no spring, no winter, no autumn!!!

As it says the book of life, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 –

”To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the sun.

A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace.”
