Everyone’s had them! One of those days – those horrible days where nothing goes right.

You stumble out of bed, later than usual, your hair is just not working! You make a staunch cup of coffee, only to knock it over while wiping the sleep from your eyes. You have a little ”hissy-fit” and decide: ”This day is already ruined!”

Only to find – it gets worse! Nothing fits quite right, you’re not in the mood for anyone’s nonsense … and then guess what!? This also happens to be the day your boss decides to give it a go as well – until you reach your final straw!!

PASS ME THE PUNCHING BAG PLEASE!! Or in less extreme cases, perhaps a feathery pillow will do, to simply scream into!

Its days like these when one has to look back at how it all started. Had I woken up, a little grumpy and addressed the Lord, as the very first thing I did – perhaps it would have all been different. This is really a ”make-or-break” regarding the daily victories of Christians. You have to stand your ground even when you just do not want to anymore!

Hebrews 12:28 ”Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.”

This might sound like a resounding gong to some of you but it really does benefit you if you put the Lord first in your life – everyday! It seems selfish phrasing it this way – God IS NOT by any means a ”lucky charm” or a ”genie in a bottle” – HE IS ALMIGHTY and ALL-MAGNIFICENT! What I am getting at is – HE is real, just like our bad days and our good days – Praise when you are happy – praise Him when you are sad! Even praise Him when you want to pull your hair out in frustration – just praise Him!!

1 Thessalonians 5:14 - ''Give thanks to the Lord in all circumstance; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.''

1 Thessalonians 5:14 – ”Give thanks to the Lord in all circumstance; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
